Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Apheresis Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of our paediatric apheresis service.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience working with children and young people with acute and chronic conditions, including those undergoing apheresis treatment. They will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care, developing and implementing care pathways, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to children and young people undergoing apheresis treatment
  • Develop and implement care pathways to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of our paediatric apheresis service
  • Provide education and training to colleagues and students
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience working with children and young people with acute and chronic conditions
  • Advanced knowledge of paediatric apheresis and its applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
