This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior House Officer to join our Trauma and Orthopaedics team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have the chance to develop their skills in a dynamic and expanding service, working closely with our consultant teams and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in clinical and service activities to ensure a high standard of patient care
- Work collaboratively with medical, professional, and managerial colleagues to provide high-quality healthcare
- Contribute to clinical governance and participate in clinical audit
- Develop skills in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with opportunities for teaching and research
The ideal candidate will have:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- GMC registration
- At least 1 year of full-time SHO experience in the UK
- Desirable criteria include MRCS – part A, previous experience in a large hospital setting, and evidence of publication or engagement in research
