About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic service at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience of working in a fast-paced acute hospital setting.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives and participate in audit and quality improvement activities

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
  • Post-qualification experience in a physical setting, with evidence of personal and professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
