Job Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in a variety of specialties. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their clinical skills and knowledge while working in a well-supported environment.
Main Duties of the Job
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans. The role will involve working in a variety of settings, including acute hospital and community-based services.
Training and Development
We offer a comprehensive training and development program, including clinical supervision, induction, and preceptorship. The successful candidate will have access to a range of development opportunities, including individual professional development programs and excellent CPD activities.
Working for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust
We are a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England, providing a full range of general hospital services and some aspects of specialist and complex care. We have a team of over 8,000 full and part-time staff and are committed to developing a culture where everyone can reach their full potential.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and experience of working in a physical disability setting. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision.
