Job Summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient control of inventory and supporting various departments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health and safety of everyone within your area of responsibility, including leading risk assessments and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage the receipt and inspection of incoming orders, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Book in project, stock parts, and consumables, allocating bonded material numbers and maintaining 100% accuracy and traceability.
  • Kit out parts against project-specific BoM's and kit lists, maintaining full traceability.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.
  • Control cleanroom items, gloves, mob caps, coats, and other essential supplies.
  • Obtain quotes and raise purchase requests for stock and consumable items.
  • Assist in the packing and dispatch of finished goods, adhering to relevant ADR guidelines for the transport of dangerous goods.
  • Perform annual stock counts and provide data for procurement sheets.
  • Liaise with finance as required and provide internal support to all departments.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
Requirements
  • Driving license preferred.
  • Forklift license not essential.
  • Proficient skills with MS Office/Office 365 suite of programs.
  • Ability to work in a multi-project environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of handling, storage, and shipping of dangerous goods.
