Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Assistant to support our Electricals division. This role encompasses both office-based and remote work, concentrating on the creation and execution of a product assortment that fulfills customer demands while reflecting our brand ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curating a product assortment to enhance sales and surpass customer satisfaction
  • Engaging with suppliers, participating in trade exhibitions, and managing purchasing meetings
  • Supervising online briefs and ensuring product stock levels
  • Staying informed on market developments and sourcing products
  • Collaborating with multiple departments to formulate range strategies
  • Overseeing critical timelines and schedules
  • Composing product descriptions and managing the range plan
  • Analyzing seasonal trade and supplier outcomes
  • Working with E-Commerce to ensure precise product representation
  • Establishing buying administration processes
  • Managing the sample room and sample workflow
  • Reporting on seasonal performance and devising new strategies

Qualifications:

  • Background in a Buying Team
  • Knowledge of competitors and market dynamics
  • Commercial insight and comprehension of KPIs
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with contracts and supplier onboarding processes
