**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Education and Social Care team at Bradford College. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to the department, ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Education and Social Care Department, including monitoring student attendance and maintaining accurate records.
  • Respond promptly to all incoming inquiries and communicate effectively with students, parents, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organize documents, records, and databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of information.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities, and log procurement items for approval.
  • Act as a liaison between college departments for all administrative tasks and ensure that all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders and provide accurate information.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including academic staff, to ensure accurate and detailed information for Education and Social Care activities.
  • Maintain confidential data and undertake tasks related to managing and storing paper and electronic documentation.
  • Carry out data input, prepare reports, and perform administrative work efficiently with high accuracy.
  • Carry out all administrative duties related to meetings as required.
  • Work under own initiative, prioritize workload, and take decisions concerning established practices, referring only non-routine problems to other teams.
