About the Role
Horton Park Medical Practice is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide essential support to our Practice Manager and Partners, ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Practice Manager and Partners, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining records.
- Assist with the development and implementation of administrative systems and processes to enhance service provision to patients.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, staff attendance, and training records.
- Coordinate and arrange meetings, events, and training sessions, including preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Provide administrative support to the medical team, including preparing clinical letters, processing referrals, and managing prescription claims.
- Assist with the maintenance of our website, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate.
- Perform other administrative duties as required, including ordering supplies, managing stock, and providing general administrative support.
Requirements
- GCSEs A to C or 4 to 9 or equivalent including Maths and English.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification or RSA III (desirable).
- Experience of using TeamsNet software (desirable).
- Willingness to undertake further study and development.
