Position Overview: Our client, a prominent organization in the retail sector, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Support Specialist to enhance their team on a permanent basis.

Work Environment: This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor assessments to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Supplier Relations: Foster strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of accurate samples, collaborating closely with Quality Assurance to adhere to established policies and best practices.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on product sales performance, addressing any concerns and strategizing for improvement.
  • Product Development: Assist in the creation of product ranges and selection processes, including writing compelling product descriptions and managing cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the Web Content Team and E-Commerce department to ensure product information and imagery are precise and suggest enhancements as needed.
  • Administrative Management: Oversee buying administration systems to guarantee product availability and timely deliveries.
  • Seasonal Strategy: Analyze seasonal performance data to inform future strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong administrative capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of buying and procurement processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of competitors and market dynamics in both retail and online environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including Pivots and V-lookups).
