Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to join our team on a 3 day week basis. The successful candidate will provide legal services that support the future growth of the business, with a focus on commercial law, contract drafting and negotiation, and contract management.

  • Collaborate with the management team to provide legal services that support business growth.
  • Provide general and commercial legal support to businesses in the Group, including advice on tender proposals, contract drafting, review and negotiation, and deal with ad-hoc legal issues.
  • Provide expert, pragmatic, commercial, and risk-aware advice and support on issues for the whole Company.
  • Proactively identify arising risk areas and work with key stakeholders across the business to develop and deliver risk mitigation solutions.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts with business partners, suppliers, and customers.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A legal qualification in the UK/Ireland.
  • A minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Knowledge of the energy & natural resources industry would be beneficial.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
