Director of Clinical Services Opportunity

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Services to lead our adult Acute/PICU service in Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical services operation within the hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee clinical staffing and hold ownership of clinical department budgets
  • Ensure clinical governance and promote positive working relationships within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Deliver career pathways to clinical staff, including talent mapping and succession planning

Requirements:

  • Accreditation/registration with the relevant body (Nursing/Family Therapists/Psychotherapists/Psychologists/CBT Therapists and health/medical background)
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience and previous management experience
  • Desirable experience in Acute or PICU settings, or a passion for working with complex mental health
