Job Title: Director of Clinical Services

Job Summary:

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Clinical Services to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the clinical services operation within our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality patient care is delivered through effective clinical governance and leadership.
  • Oversee clinical staffing and hold ownership of clinical department budgets.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to improve the overall operation of the hospital.
  • Deliver career pathways to clinical staff, including talent mapping and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with the Hospital Director to drive clinical excellence and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Accreditation/registration with the relevant body (e.g. Nursing, Family Therapists, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, CBT Therapists, and health/medical professionals).
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and previous management experience.
  • Desirable experience of working within Acute or PICU settings, or a passion for working with complex mental health.
