Job Title: Third-Party Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third-Party Development Manager to join our Asset Management Team at BEAR Scotland.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with developers and Transport Scotland on all planning applications and developments that impact on the trunk roads. This will involve providing advice on the suitability of applications, assisting with transport appraisal and assessment, and ensuring that any monitoring and road safety audit of a third-party development is performed and reported in accordance with the requirements of Transport Scotland.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Liaise with developers and Transport Scotland on all planning applications and developments that impact on the trunk roads.
  2. Provide advice on the suitability of applications to Transport Scotland.
  3. Assist with applications requiring transport appraisal and assessment.
  4. Ensure that any monitoring and road safety audit of a third-party development is performed and reported in accordance with the requirements of Transport Scotland.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have demonstrable appropriate experience gained while working on a trunk road maintenance contract or through undertaking a role of a similar nature for a road's authority. Excellent IT and communications skills are essential, along with a full driving license.
