Senior Technical Specialist – Microsoft 365 and Azure Expert

About the Role

Squires Resources Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Specialist to join our team in Grand Cayman. As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions for our clients, providing 2nd and 3rd line support, and managing projects and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Technical Solutions
    • Develop and implement technical solutions based on consultancy meetings with clients
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot server and desktop operating systems and applications
  • Provide Technical Support
    • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, owning escalations from the Service Desk and working as a team to resolve issues either onsite or remotely
  • Manage Projects and Team Members
    • Manage projects and other team members to meet deadlines
    • Maintain timely and accurate records in the company CRM and service desk application
  • Perform Remote IT Systems Management
    • Perform remote IT systems management and other administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Experience and Certifications
    • Minimum 5 years of experience architecting and implementing solutions for Windows Server (physical and virtual) and networking infrastructure
    • 5+ years of experience with Azure infrastructure
    • 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft 365
    • Relevant Microsoft certifications and education
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
    • Experience establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors, and the business community
    • Ability to work to deadlines, running multiple projects with varying completion dates
    • Experience managing others and monitoring and maintaining a service desk and RMM software
