Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our team at Riverside Recruitment Careers. As a Workshop Foreman, you will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance activities of our fleet of vehicles, while also providing technical support to our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, in accordance with VOSA regulations.
  • Preparation and Presentation of Vehicles: Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and in order.
  • Diagnostic and Repair Work: Diagnose and repair any faults with our vehicles, using diagnostic equipment and technical expertise.
  • Administration and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed, and that the workshop is maintained in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements:

  • Senior Commercial Technician: You will have experience as a senior commercial technician, with a proven track record of managing a team and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Qualifications and Experience: You will hold a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, or equivalent, and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Administration Skills: You will have excellent administration skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication: You will be a motivated team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
