Workshop Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Workshop Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Service Department. This role will be based at our Carlisle depot and will cover both our Carlisle and Dumfries outlets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily scheduling within the Service Department to ensure efficient job completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer technical and commercial enquiries.
- Verify that jobs have accurate information and job stories are ready for invoicing.
- Add suggested repair, PDI, and servicing time to all jobs.
- Foster a culture that promotes incremental service opportunities and ensures all opportunities are followed up.
- Provide quotes for internal and external service work efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure customer satisfaction through phone calls to customers.
- Ensure that all manufacturer warranty and Product Improvement Program (PIP) requirements are met in a timely manner.
Required Attributes:
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
- Excellent communication and human relations skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Agricultural background or relevant experience.
- Effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Service Department operations.
- Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Familiarity with John Deere and competitive products.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in Service Department operations.
- Essential: Full UK Driving Licence.

Job Type and Hours:
- Full-time, permanent position with Monday to Friday working hours, plus overtime as required and Saturdays on a rota basis.

- Carlisle and Dumfries depots, with the role based at Carlisle.
Salary:
- Salary dependent on experience.
