Resident Services Associate

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000

Location: Milton Keynes (on site with weekend shift pattern 1 in 3)


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Resident Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, ensuring the upkeep of amenity spaces, and organizing engaging events to foster a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks of amenity spaces and apartments to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Organize and host monthly residents' events, including initiatives to enhance the community feel of the scheme.
  • Engage with residents, facilitate resident-led events, and coordinate quarterly meet-and-greets.
  • Manage the hiring of amenity spaces and respond to rental enquiries, scheduling and conducting scheme tours/viewings.
  • Ensure marketing portals remain up-to-date and accurate at all times.
  • Coordinate tenant services through third-party providers and in-house teams.
  • Communicate effectively with residents through various channels, including social media.
  • Seek special offers and discounts for residents from local businesses.
  • Develop a community-focused approach through communication, events, and innovations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for residents to report maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate contractor appointments, including defect warranty repairs and logging issues.
  • Organize minor works between tenancies to maintain the presentation of apartments.
  • Complete check-in and check-out reports, determining deposit returns.
  • Carry out mid-term inspections and chase arrears.
  • Work closely with the Resident Experience Manager to ensure H&S statutory requirements are met across the development.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service background and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Common sense approach and ability to think on their feet.
  • Outgoing, warm, and friendly personality.
  • Organized, meticulous, and tenacious.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • IT literate and social media savvy.
  • Experience in undertaking viewings would be an advantage.
