Project Manager Job Description

Flowserve is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team in Newark. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the DCIQ process and managing Repair orders to their conclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review customer inquiry documents and address technical and commercial requirements.
  • Develop DCI routers and work scope routers using inspection reports and customer information.
  • Ensure sub-suppliers comply with technical specifications and contract requirements.
  • Develop quotations using job pricing information and scheduled component deliveries.
  • Review customer purchase orders and resolve any differences prior to acceptance.
  • Coordinate and manage sub-supplier requests, replacement parts, and labor estimates.
  • Ensure clean handover of orders to the project coordination team.
  • Support ordering processing and project coordination as required.
  • Manage the customer experience and provide updates as requested.
Requirements:
  • Engineering-related qualification or significant work experience.
  • Background in pumps or equipment repair processes and procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with internal colleagues and external customers.
  • Able to complete work on time and to required specifications.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
