We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team, specializing in supporting pregnant women living with obesity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both prenatal nutrition and the complexities of obesity management.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one Dietetic clinics and group sessions to support pregnant women with obesity.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to promote healthy pregnancy and weight management.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist services for patients living with maternal obesity.
- Lead on the development and use of evidence-based principles in a patient-centered approach.
- BSc Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
- HCPC Registration.
- Post-registration training or experience in specialist area.
- Basic motivational interviewing or behavior change training.
- Relevant post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Demonstrates up-to-date and advanced knowledge and expertise in weight management and maternal obesity.
- Experience of giving presentations and teaching sessions to groups in various settings.
- Evidence and experience of leadership skills.
- Evidence and experience of student training.
- Demonstrates commitment to multi-disciplinary working.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
