About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team, specialising in supporting pregnant women living with obesity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both prenatal nutrition and the complexities of obesity management.

The successful candidate will be adept at offering empathetic support and guidance, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs while promoting overall well-being and a healthy pregnancy.

The post holder will be expected to work independently, offering one-to-one Dietetic clinics, group sessions, and providing expert support as part of the multidisciplinary team.

The individual must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the management of patients in this specialist area and will be instrumental in leading on the development and use of evidence-based principles in a patient-centred way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions for pregnant women living with obesity
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide expert support and guidance
  • Conduct one-to-one Dietetic clinics and group sessions
  • Lead on the development and use of evidence-based principles in a patient-centred way
Requirements
  • BSc Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent
  • HCPC Registration
  • Post-registration training/experience in specialist area
  • Basic motivational interviewing/behaviour change training
