About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team, specializing in supporting pregnant women living with obesity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of prenatal nutrition and the complexities of obesity management.

The successful candidate will be adept at offering empathetic support and guidance, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs while promoting overall well-being and a healthy pregnancy.

The post holder will be expected to work independently, offering one-to-one Dietetic clinics, group sessions, and providing expert support as part of the multidisciplinary team. They will be instrumental in leading on the development and use of evidence-based principles in a patient-centered way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for pregnant women with obesity
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Lead on the development and use of evidence-based principles in a patient-centered way
  • Provide expert support and guidance to patients and their families
Person Specification
  • BSc Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent
  • HCPC Registration
  • Post-registration training/experience in specialist area
  • Basic motivational interviewing/behavior change training
