About the Role

At MSCI Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Climate Researcher to join our team. As a Climate Researcher, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in their sustainability journey by providing expert analysis and insights on climate-related risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain climate-related models and methodologies to evaluate emissions and carbon footprints.
  • Engage with clients to understand their climate-related challenges and provide tailored support to address their needs.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions to help clients achieve their sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain our climate-related research and data products.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest climate-related research, trends, and regulatory developments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in climate finance, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of climate-related risks and opportunities, including carbon accounting methodologies and sectoral decarbonization approaches.
  • Experience working with climate-related data and software tools.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
