We are seeking a highly skilled Brand and Communications Manager to join our Marketing team at Climate Action. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in elevating our key portfolio events and main Climate Action brand.
Our portfolio of events includes The Sustainable Investment Forum in Paris and New York during Climate Week NYC, The Climate Innovation Forum during London Climate Action Week, a series of flagship forums The Sustainable Innovation Forum, The Hydrogen Transition Summit, The Agri-Food Transition Summit as well as the Climate Action Innovation Zone during COP.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy across key portfolio events and the Climate Action brand, including activities across owned channels such as web, email, and social media.
- Develop and implement brand identity across key collateral, including website, social media, brochures, reports, and event signage.
- Develop brand voice, positioning, and messaging across key portfolios and the Climate Action brand.
- Research and secure key media/PR relationships and opportunities to further elevate the brand.
- Act as Brand Ambassador, implementing and maintaining brand guidelines and consistency across Climate Action digital and in-person presence.
- Manage internal and external communications through oversight of copywriting across web, social, and email.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, or Advertising.
- At least 3 years of experience in communications, brand marketing, digital, social, advertising, or a related field.
- A passion and understanding for climate change policy and environmental issues.
- An agile approach to working, where you can review results and adjust plans as you go to optimize results.
- Excellent project and time management, organization, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- You are analytical with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
