About the Role

Plymouth University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Teaching Fellow in Human Resources Management. This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to cover a period of Maternity/adoption leave.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Human Resources Management, aligned with the University's strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and meet the needs of students.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including marking, feedback, and pastoral care.
  • Engage in research and knowledge exchange activities, collaborating with colleagues to advance the field of Human Resources Management.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty-wide initiatives, contributing to the development of a vibrant and inclusive academic community.
Requirements
  • PhD in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching and learning, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality educational experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Strong research and knowledge exchange skills, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of the field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
