We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool. This part-time role will involve working lunch hours, Monday to Friday, 10am-2pm.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities for children, promoting their development towards key milestones. You will also develop and maintain strong parent/carer partnerships, ensuring child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging activities for children, tailored to their individual needs and interests.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, happy, and stimulating, promoting children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
