Early Years Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Day Nursery and Preschool.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our youngest learners. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, implement, and evaluate activities that promote the development of children towards key milestones.
You will work closely with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment, ensuring the well-being and protection of our children. Your strong communication skills will enable you to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to each child's needs and interests
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or similar setting
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
