Community Link Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible individual to join our team as a Community Link Worker. As a key member of our Supported Housing Service in Sudbury, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community.

About the Role

As a Community Link Worker, you will be responsible for inspiring and supporting individuals to lead their own recovery. This will involve helping them to develop domestic and finance management skills, accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities, and promoting the service within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting individuals to develop personal support plans and achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Developing domestic and finance management skills
  • Accessing work, leisure, or educational opportunities
  • Liaising with GP surgeries, the local council, charities, and other relevant organizations
  • Promoting the service within the community
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is caring, consistent, flexible, and creative, with the ability to work well under pressure. You should have an understanding of drug and alcohol, county lines, and antisocial behavior, as well as the ability to partake in learning and development opportunities. Ideally, you will have access to your own vehicle and be willing to use it for business purposes.
