Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated, experienced Clinical Operations Manager (RMN/RNLD) to join our team.

The working hours will be Monday to Friday (9 AM to 5:30 PM, including participation in on-call duties).

Our facility accommodates a total of 46 male patients across three specialized wards: an acute service, a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), and a highly specialized service for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Our team is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes patient-centered care and continuous service improvement.

In collaboration with medical teams, the Clinical Operations Manager will oversee various departments, including psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social work, supported by a robust administrative team.

The Opportunity...

To provide strategic direction and innovative initiatives that enhance clinical practice and leadership in care delivery. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of optimal clinical and therapeutic care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.

As a member of the senior management team, you will play a crucial role in executing the hospital's strategy, offering operational and clinical leadership to the broader staff group in support of the Hospital Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Senior Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of two years in a managerial role.
  • Extensive experience in leading teams and/or senior practice-based roles.
  • Proficient in interpreting and analyzing complex information and managing intricate situations.
  • Experience in collaborative work with statutory and voluntary organizations.
  • Proven track record in setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting reports at senior management levels.
  • Ability to influence practice, culture, and outcomes across professional boundaries.
  • Experience in establishing therapeutic boundaries with patients exhibiting challenging and high-risk behaviors requiring advanced interventions.
  • Ideally, experience working with patients within similar service lines.
  • Experience collaborating with partner organizations, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to inspire and motivate others.
