Role Responsibilities

As a Clinical Care Unit Leader with Exemplar Health Care, you will be at the forefront of clinical care delivery for residents in your designated unit.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your unit's nursing and care teams to ensure we meet the medical, physical, and emotional needs of the individuals we support.
  • Providing strong leadership to maintain and continuously enhance high standards of care and drive ongoing improvement.
  • Overseeing and managing all clinical elements and risks within your unit.
  • Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed promptly, accurately reflecting care interventions.
  • Acting as the Named Nurse for residents assigned to you, responsible for the oversight, review, and update of their care profiles.
  • Supervising and managing your unit's processes related to the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication.
Candidate Profile

To qualify for this role, you must hold a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
