About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to our clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to our multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement effective clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards
  • Lead and manage the hospital's clinical services, including medical, nursing, and therapy teams
  • Collaborate with other departments, including HR, ward clerks, and medical secretaries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including partner organizations and commissioners

Requirements

  • Qualified Senior Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' managerial experience
  • Significant experience of leading teams and/or senior practice-based work
  • Experience of interpreting and analysing complex information and managing complex circumstances
  • Partnership working with other statutory and voluntary agencies
  • Experience of setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care
  • Experience of preparing and presenting reports at senior management level
  • Ability to change practice, culture, and outcomes across professional boundaries
  • Experience of setting therapeutic boundaries with patients who exhibit challenging and high-risk behaviours
