Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Manager to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. As a Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction and contemporary initiatives to drive and embed effective clinical practice and leadership for care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and services
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and quality standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve service improvement and patient-centered care
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to ensure delivery of high-quality care
  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to the wider staff group in support of the Hospital Manager

Requirements

  • Experience of being a qualified Senior Mental Health Nurse with minimum 2 years managerial experience
  • Significant experience of leading teams and/or senior practice-based work
  • Experience of interpreting and analysing complex information and managing complex circumstances
  • Partnership working with other statutory and voluntary agencies
  • Experience of setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care
  • Experience of preparing and presenting reports at senior management level
  • Ability to change practice, culture, and outcomes across professional boundaries
  • Experience of setting therapeutic boundaries with patients who exhibit challenging and high-risk behaviors that require advanced interventions to enable effective de-escalation
  • Experience of working with patients within the service lines or similar
  • Experience of working with partner organizations, commissioners, and external stakeholders
  • Able to enthuse and inspire others using advanced communication and presentation skills
