About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Safety Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of our systems and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety-critical systems and software solutions for Defence and Nuclear clients
  • Conduct hazard identification and analysis, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure system safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety standards are met and compliance is achieved
  • Support the development of safety cases and provide technical expertise to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, and ensure our solutions meet or exceed these requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Computer Science
  • Proven experience in safety-critical systems and software development
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as BS EN 61508 and RTCA-DO-178
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
