About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Safety Engineer to work on a variety of projects in the Defence and Nuclear sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system and software safety standards, including BS EN 61508, RTCA-DO-178 A/B/C, and Def Stan 00-55.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hazard identification and analysis techniques, such as Functional Failure Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis.
Produce project safety reviews and undertake and manage Safety Critical Risk Assessments (SCRA).
Collaborate with clients to develop and deliver safety-critical systems.
Requirements:
SC or DV Cleared
Experience working on high SIL/DAL projects and producing documentation demonstrating compliance to safety standards.
Skilled in system and software safety standards and hazard identification techniques.
