Position Overview

Are you interested in becoming a part of our newly established Regulatory Consulting team? This role offers a distinctive chance to engage with a variety of projects and play a pivotal role in shaping this emerging business line. The team thrives in a vibrant and fast-evolving setting where every contribution is valued. Given the nascent stage of this function, team members can significantly impact the business and team dynamics, regardless of their level of experience.

Reporting directly to a Partner within the department, this position emphasizes project execution. The Regulatory Consulting Associate Director will oversee and deliver specific client work components, assist with technical inquiries, and generate technical documentation. Moreover, you will aid in the team's growth and development while achieving utilization targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute strategies aligned with the annual business plan alongside the Partner; adopt a cohesive approach to promote the Evelyn Partners brand, service offerings, and value proposition across various business lines; nurture established networks, maintain regular client interactions, and invest in relationship-building to uncover opportunities for the firm.
  • Generate revenue streams from both internal and external sources; assist in pitches, tenders, proposals, and marketing initiatives to secure engagements with current and prospective clients.
  • Foster a robust internal network to enhance awareness of team capabilities, market team services, and identify internal peer groups for referrals while contributing to thought leadership and publications.
  • Assist the Partner in managing the Regulatory Consulting team and specialized project groups.
  • Lead and oversee multiple projects and client engagements simultaneously.
  • Provide constructive, timely feedback and support career advancement and performance coaching to optimize individual and team effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate commitment to and support the integration of Evelyn Partners' values and ESG initiatives.
  • Manage risk, profitability, and efficiency to ensure exemplary client service, streamlined operations, and favorable commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive practical experience in a comparable regulatory role within financial services or consultancy, with a proven success record.
  • Ability to cultivate professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Professionally qualified in regulation to Level 4 or equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding of the FCA Handbook and current regulatory matters.
  • Significant experience in project and team management.
  • Extensive background in mentoring and developing team members.
  • Capability to identify and rectify client procedural deficiencies.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to meet financial objectives.
