About the Role

We are seeking a talented lawyer to join our Marine team at a top-ranked Legal 500 Law Firm. As a Solicitor with c.2 years PQE+, you will have experience in marine insurance, trade, transport litigation, and shipping dispute resolution.

As part of this role, you will act for governments, producers, trading companies, banks, cargo insurers, national oil companies, and international traders on complex issues. You will also conduct training sessions and workshops for clients and provide supervision to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting for clients on marine insurance, trade, transport litigation, and shipping dispute resolution
  • Conducting training sessions and workshops for clients
  • Providing supervision to junior team members
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with 2 years experience in marine or trading
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize, and manage a varied caseload
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
