Job Overview:
The Youth Support Services Coordinator will be essential in managing the daily functions of our semi-residential living arrangements.

This role encompasses the coordination and provision of extensive support services to young individuals, ensuring their unique needs are addressed while cultivating a secure, welcoming, and positive living atmosphere.

The Coordinator will collaborate closely with residents, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to design and execute tailored care strategies.


Resident Assistance:

Deliver direct support to young individuals, offering emotional, social, and practical help to assist them in reaching their personal objectives and improving their overall quality of life.


  • Care Strategy Development: Create, implement, and assess individual care strategies in partnership with the young individuals, their families, and other professionals.

Service Coordination:

Communicate with external agencies, healthcare providers, educational institutions, and other pertinent organizations to coordinate comprehensive support services for the young individuals.


  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the young individuals by adhering to health and safety standards and organizational policies. Conduct regular risk evaluations and enforce safeguarding protocols.
  • Maintain precise and current records of young individuals' progress, care strategies, and any incidents or concerns. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in partnership with other staff members, participating in team meetings and contributing to the enhancement and development of services.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional growth to remain informed about best practices in semi-residential living environments.
  • Emergency Response: React effectively to emergencies and challenging situations, providing support and guidance to the young individuals and staff as necessary.

A relevant qualification in social work, healthcare, or a related field (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care).


  • Experience: Prior experience in a support or coordination role within a supported living or similar care environment, particularly with young individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and a sincere passion for assisting young individuals.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in supported living care.
  • A valid UK driving license and the ability to travel is desirable. Competitive salary and benefits package.
