Responsibilities:
- Guarantee full adherence to all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement effective EHS strategies to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
- Foster a proactive safety culture by encouraging employee participation and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance and support to employees on matters related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to established protocols.
- Investigate incidents promptly and effectively to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a strong understanding of industry-specific EHS requirements.
- Possession of a NEBOSH Diploma in health and safety, demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
- In-depth understanding of applicable environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
