About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in the Gillingham area. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional store standards and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team
  • Support the implementation of store operations and processes to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and address areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business results
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and be available to work a range of hours
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, customer service, and sales processes
