As a Deputy Store Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in leading the store team, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring that the store meets its sales and customer service targets. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve store performance, managing stock levels, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in leading the store team and achieving sales and customer service targets.
  • Manage day-to-day store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team development.
  • Manage and motivate a team of retail staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure that the store is maintained to a high standard, including cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Monitor and report on store performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
