Position Overview

Three Chequers Medical Practice is seeking a Medication Management Specialist to assist the Practice Clinicians and Dispensary Team in delivering safe, effective, and efficient systems for repeat prescriptions, optimizing medication use, minimizing medication waste, and enhancing patient outcomes.

Location: Flexible working arrangements are available.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with our skilled Dispensary team to provide guidance to healthcare professionals and patients regarding changes in prescribing practices aimed at improving safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Additionally, the role involves conducting medication reconciliation in line with practice protocols and updating patient medical records and prescriptions as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing patient care through effective monitoring and management of prescriptions. Responsibilities include:

  • Addressing medication inquiries from patients, staff, and other healthcare providers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assisting Practice clinicians in conducting medication reviews and providing patient information materials.
  • Engaging in community visits as required.

This is a full-time position available Monday through Friday. A valid UK driving license is required, and we are open to a flexible working arrangement for the right candidate, which may include a mix of remote work and in-practice duties.
