Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our efforts in addressing significant challenges through data and artificial intelligence. As the Senior Vice President of Applied Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning within Markets Operations, you will spearhead innovative initiatives, creating advanced technologies that bolster our Markets division. Your role will involve close collaboration with software developers, business leaders, and machine learning specialists to drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop AI Strategies - Formulate and execute Artificial Intelligence strategies to tackle intricate issues within Markets Operations.
  • Create Scalable AI Solutions - Engineer and implement robust, scalable, and reusable Machine Learning frameworks and systems.
  • Collaborate with Technical Teams - Work alongside software engineering teams to design and launch AI services that integrate smoothly with core systems and processes.
  • Assess Model Effectiveness - Establish and apply both intrinsic and extrinsic evaluation metrics to assess model performance in line with business objectives.
  • Enhance Business Insight - Continuously improve your understanding of the Markets sector to devise practical and impactful solutions.
  • Implement Feedback Mechanisms - Create effective feedback systems to facilitate active learning and optimize model performance over time.
  • Guide and Mentor Team Members - Offer technical mentorship and support to team members, sharing best practices and staying updated on advancements in machine learning.
  • Produce High-Quality Code - Develop and maintain production-ready code for data analysis and training workflows.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Thorough understanding of fundamental Machine Learning techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical data analysis and experimental design.
  • Extensive experience in developing and deploying Data Science and Machine Learning capabilities in production environments.
  • Significant background in applied Machine Learning or Data Science roles.
  • Proficient in Python programming and familiar with common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy) and MLOps platforms (e.g., SageMaker).
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven capability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams with diverse skill sets.
