Job Title: Specialist Childrens Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Childrens Worker to join our team at Net-Worx (2001) Limited. As a Specialist Childrens Worker, you will provide a frontline one-to-one service for children and young people (aged 5-19) who have been impacted by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred support to young people in their own abusive relationships, helping them to develop coping strategies and build resilience.
  • Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting young people.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of young people.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working with children and young people, particularly in the context of domestic abuse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of young people.
  • Knowledge of child protection procedures and policies, with a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of young people.
