You will provide a frontline, one-to-one service for children and young people (aged 5-19) who have been impacted by domestic abuse.
As a Specialist Childrens Worker, you will provide person-centred support to young people in their own abusive relationships, helping them to develop coping strategies and build resilience.
You will work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package is in place for each young person.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role, requiring a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding of the complexities of domestic abuse.
Net-Worx (2001) Limited is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all young people, and we are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to children and young people affected by domestic abuse
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans
- Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure a comprehensive support package
- Provide emotional support and guidance to young people
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and young people affected by domestic abuse
- Qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. social work, youth work, counselling)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of emotional intelligence and empathy
