Counsellor - Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our team at Nuffield Health, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to building a healthier nation.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat individuals with common mental health problems, promoting self-management and recovery.
- Conduct patient-centered consultations to identify areas for change and risk assessment.
- Make informed decisions on referrals, adhering to Nuffield Health protocols, and refer clients to relevant support agencies or GPs when necessary.
- Maintain high standards of practice, adhering to Nuffield Health regulations and Department of Health guidelines.
- Ensure confidentiality is protected at all times, following the information governance policy.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in treatment for common mental health problems.
- Keep accurate records of continued professional development and maintain specialist knowledge of latest theoretical and service delivery models.
We are looking for a qualified Counsellor with a bachelor's degree in counselling or counselling psychology and a minimum of two years' post-degree experience in counselling. Full Accreditation with the BACP or UKCP, Accredited Professional Status with the NCPS, or Accredited Membership with COSCA is essential. Ideally, you will have completed NICE-approved Counselling for Depression training.
