Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Packaging Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Frontline Recruitment Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development and implementation of new packaging solutions for a global aerospace manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in the planning and implementation of new machining and fabrication packages
  • Work closely with production to improve and reduce costs
  • Support the day-to-day engineering requirements and lead a team of engineers
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques
  • Identify tooling needs and work with subcontractors on detailed quotes and solutions
  • Attend weekly meetings and project reviews

Requirements:

  • Proven engineering background in aerospace
  • Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and welding processes
  • Experience with planning, creating route cards, and job cards using MRP systems
  • Knowledge of SOP documents and control plan creation
  • Experience with lean manufacturing

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-4
