About the Role

Lane Clark & Peacock LLP is a leading actuarial and analytics consultancy providing expert advice on pensions, investments, energy, insurance, employee benefits, and health.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented individual to join our DC Investment team as a DC Investment Consultant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with industry giants, including FTSE 100 companies, and make a significant impact on millions of employees and DC pension scheme members through data analysis and complex modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and use our in-house software to model pension scheme cashflows, providing valuable insights to our clients.
  • Client Reporting: Draft client reports, advice letters, and attend various meetings to ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • DC Pension Scheme Advice: Advise trustees and employers on DC pension schemes, optimizing strategies, and assisting with benefit design to meet their needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Help clients comply with regulatory duties and produce governance documents to ensure compliance.
  • Responsible Investing: Advise clients on responsible investing, including climate risks and opportunities associated with different investment strategies.
Requirements:
  • A-Level A grade in Maths or an equivalent numerical subject (taking into account any contextualisation of grades)
  • Degree educated (minimum 2:1) or currently studying for a degree and on track to achieve a 2:1, in any subject
  • Strong IT skills, including programming languages, coding, financial modelling, and data analysis
  • Professionalism – including timeliness, reliability, and dedication to meet deadlines to support client needs
