Job Summary

We are seeking a Corporate Governance Research Specialist to join our team of six. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality corporate governance research on UK publicly listed companies, engaging with members and companies on governance matters, and delivering excellent customer service to subscribers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce concise and informative IVIS reports on corporate governance, remuneration, and environmental and social issues.
  • Respond to investor queries and extract additional information from companies as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to subscribers.
  • Aid with board-level company engagement and remuneration consultation processes.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, including IA members, subscribers, corporate advisers, and companies.
  • Liaise with colleagues on relevant stewardship, corporate governance, and capital markets issues.
Requirements
  • Evidence of interest in or knowledge of governance and responsible investment issues.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and create concise summaries.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Self-motivation, ownership of issues, and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with an open and friendly personality.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, database, and spreadsheet packages.
