Rotational Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including acute inpatient wards, outpatient departments, and community teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, complex care, frailty, medicine, surgery, trauma, and rheumatology.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote patient independence and functional ability.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective discharge planning.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services, including the design and delivery of training programs and the development of clinical guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of occupational therapy services.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Active registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in a hospital or community setting, preferably in a rotational capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of current best practice in occupational therapy, including the use of evidence-based interventions and the application of occupational therapy principles to promote patient-centered care.
