Job Title: 3rd Line Network Support Engineer

Location: Flexible, with occasional travel to Corsham, Wiltshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Benefits
Role Type: Full time / Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Third Line Network Support Engineer. As a key member of our network support team, you will be responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting and support for our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and resolve complex network faults and incidents.
  2. Design and implement upgrades and enhancements to our network infrastructure.
  3. Provide expert knowledge and support for the design and implementation of IP networks and satellite communications systems.
  4. Manage the installation and configuration of new system elements.
  5. Test and commission new equipment and services.
  6. Ensure new services and systems meet UK security requirements.
  7. Manage obsolescence within the existing system to ensure it remains supportable and compliant to security requirements.

This role requires manual work, including lifting, bending, using tools, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:
  1. Experience in the design and delivery of IP communication networks, ideally with Cisco accreditation.
  2. Knowledge of satellite communications technology is an advantage.
  3. Previous experience working at a telecoms or satellite communication company.
Qualifications:
  1. Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering Discipline.
Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
