Role Type: Full time / Permanent

As a Third Line Support Engineer, you'll embark on a challenging and rewarding journey. Your role will involve providing advanced technical support to our network, conducting in-depth fault investigations, and implementing upgrades and enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and implementing Internet Protocol (IP) networks and satellite communications systems.
  2. Responding to complex customer faults and network incidents.
  3. Managing the installation and configuration of new system elements.
  4. Testing and commissioning new equipment and services.
  5. Ensuring new services and systems meet UK security requirements.
  6. Managing obsolescence within the existing system to maintain supportability and compliance.
  7. Providing third line support to operations teams.

This role requires manual work, which may involve lifting, bending, using tools, or standing for extended periods.

Essential Requirements:

  1. Experience in designing and delivering IP communication networks, preferably with Cisco accreditation.
  2. Knowledge of Satellite communications technology is advantageous.
  3. Previous work experience in a telecoms or satellite communication company.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering Discipline.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national, able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
